Description
Mirror stainless steel is a AISI 304 stainless steel with a mirror-like surface finish (BA – Bright Annealed). The surface is highly reflective and protected by a PVC adhesive film which is applied at the factory and maintained during laser cutting to avoid scratches.
It is the same material as the’standard stainless steel, but with a factory polish that provides a highly aesthetically pleasing mirrored effect. It's the ideal choice for signs, decorative lettering, display elements, retail components, jewelry, furnishing accessories, and any application where visual appeal is a priority.
Instructions for laser cutting metal
- It is not possible to share cutting lines between adjacent pieces.
- You will only receive the cut pieces, not the rest of the plate. To receive the entire plate, draw a perimeter around the edge of the template.
- The elements must be separated by at least 6 mm.
- Minimum workpiece area: 10 × 10 mm.
- Avoid details with width less than 1 mm.
- The load-bearing details must have width ≥ thickness of the plate (min 1 mm).
- Draw using only closed tracks.
- Engraving: only vector media (green color).
- The protective film may not adhere perfectly in areas with very dense or close geometries (distance < 8 mm).

Finish
Mirror (BA) – Factory mirror-gloss finish, protected by PVC film. The reflective surface is on the front of the sheet. The back may have burrs from the cutting process.

Applications
Mirror stainless steel is particularly used for high-end signs and lettering, retail display and fittings, furnishing accessories, jewelry, premium plaques and signage, and decorative components for interior architecture.
The material is AISI 304 steel: recyclable, weldable, non-magnetic, and corrosion-resistant. After cutting, any burrs or discolorations can be removed with stainless steel abrasive paste or fine sandpaper.
