Description
PLA (polylactic acid) is a thermoplastic of plant origin, the most used material in 3D printing FDM. It's the most economical choice for dimensional prototypes, models, gadgets, decorative objects, and shape verification.
The material offers good aesthetics with relatively smooth surfaces for FDM technology. It's rigid, easy to print, and available in a wide range of colors—ideal when appearance matters more than mechanical performance.
Available colors
Black and white These are the standard colors, always available.
Colors on request – It is possible to print in colored PLA based on the availability of filaments. For specific colors, contact us before ordering to check availability.
When to choose PLA
PLA is perfect for aesthetic prototypes, architectural models, gadgets, conceptual packaging, and any object that doesn't need to withstand mechanical stress or high temperatures. It's not suitable for functional parts, mechanical components, or outdoor applications: for these uses, PLA is more suitable. PETG, i FDM technical materials or the nylon PA12 MJF.
Maximum printable volume: 256 × 256 × 256 mm
