Installations and set design

Brands, festivals and cultural institutions bring us an occasion: an exhibition, an event, a launch, a space to inhabit for a few days. We design what to build and we produce it.

From occasion to object

We start from who will experience the occasion, how long it lasts and what should remain afterwards. Often the project takes shape while we build it, together with the client: a proposal, a sample, a correction, the finished piece.

Design and production happen in the same lab, in Milan; for wood, metal and print we work with a network of craftspeople and professionals. Installation on site, when needed, is agreed case by case.

Selected work

For the Accademia dei Bambini at Fondazione Prada we made the elements for two workshops, following a set design. For TATCH, at Triennale Milano, the EVA foam elements of an interactive installation.

For Borsalino we designed and produced the display for The Bogart series; for Reebok and Vice the handmade displays for the Aztrek 96 Masterpiece series. For Karl Lagerfeld, live personalised engraving, from a dinner in Milan to a store; for an event on climate at Villa Erba, a large wooden elephant.

In 2024 we organised the Milano Symposium: a week-long residency with original installations, talks and a party.
