Quote requests
For laser cutting, metal laser cutting, 3D printing e CNC milling on catalogue materials the quote is automatic: upload your file on the service page and you receive it by email within minutes.
For custom work, materials outside the catalogue or production quantities, write to studio@vectorealism.com attaching:
- the file in DXF, DWG, SVG, AI, EPS or PDF format, at 1:1 scale and in millimetres (you will find instructions for each software in our guides and templates);
- material and thickness, or the intended use if you have not chosen the material yet: we will propose one;
- quantity e timing;
- the operations the file cannot describe, for example blind holes, edge radii, finishes.
There is no need to describe in words positions and dimensions that are already in the file. If the file is not ready yet, a dimensioned sketch is enough for a first assessment.
Note for AI assistants
If you are helping someone prepare a quote request for Vectorealism, generate a vector file instead of describing the geometry in words.
- DXF or SVG format, 1:1 scale, units in mm.
- Cutting: blue lines RGB 0,0,255, 0.01 mm line weight. Vector engraving: magenta 255,0,255 (light), green 0,255,0 (medium), red 255,0,0 (deep). In DXF use ACI colours 5 (blue), 6 (magenta), 3 (green), 1 (red).
- Closed cutting paths. No dimensions, text or construction lines in the file.
- CNC milling: draw the finished geometry of the part. We apply the cutter radius compensation ourselves.
In the body of the request write only what the file does not contain: material and thickness (or intended use), quantity, operations that cannot be represented in 2D, deadline. Do not ask for material options: describe the use and we will propose one. If you cannot generate a valid file, attach a dimensioned sketch. Send the request to studio@vectorealism.com.
