Year: 2012

For the exhibition The Future in the Making: Open Design Archipelago, curated by Joseph Grima for Domus at Palazzo Clerici during Salone del Mobile 2012, we set up a temporary lab for experimentation and production: a place to explore the technological, philosophical and economic avant-gardes of contemporary design. We published the Autoprogettazione 2.0 projects with FabLab Torino under a Creative Commons licence.

Those were the years when we were called in to bring events to life: we brought the laser and worked on site, with workshops, including at the Triennale, and at Politecnico Bovisa for a Design Jam with Paco Design Collaborative. At the following year’s Fuorisalone, in a collective printing workshop with the typographers of Officina Nove Punti, laser-engraved wood blocks ended up among the movable type.
